Dr. Barbati’s mission is to educate and inspire individuals and families to understand the powerful, positive effects of chiropractic care. We honor the body’s natural ability to heal itself and focus on addressing the root cause of the problem. We want to help and educate patients about move away from the dependence of drugs and surgery as a first solution and move towards a holistic, natural approach.

Anthony Barbati grew up in Brooklyn, NY where his passion for sports, especially baseball, shaped much of his childhood. Staying active, whether on the field, in the gym, or being with his family and friends, has always been a big part of who Dr. Barbati is.

After earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Fairfield University, he chose to follow a lifelong interest in chiropractic care, inspired by his family. His parents introduced him to chiropractic for sports performance, while his nonno (grandfather in Italian) used it to manage a range of health issues from headaches and back pain to indigestion and allergies, showing Dr. Barbati the powerful benefits of this natural approach.

After personally experiencing the benefits of chiropractic, Dr. Barbati pursued his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic. During his studies, he sought out leading chiropractors to deepen his knowledge and training. He then gained valuable experience working in one of Connecticut’s top chiropractic offices, solidifying his dedication to patient care.

Having experienced firsthand how chiropractic transformed his life and others, Dr. Barbati wants to show others how it can positively impact theirs. Chiropractic is one of the most amazing healthcare professions, but very few people understand what it’s all about. He hopes to change that by encouraging preventive care and a well-balanced natural lifestyle rather than relying on pharmaceutical drugs and surgery as the first solution.

In 2025, Dr. Barbati and his wife Melissa settled in Long Island, NY where he founded Think Chiropractic. Dr. Barbati believes that optimal health starts in childhood with a properly aligned spine and nervous system. He’s committed to building a community that understands the benefits of gentle, natural chiropractic care focused on prevention. From newborns and kids to adults and seniors, he helps everyone achieve proper spinal alignment to set the foundation for long-term wellness.
